I Don’t mind to share all of this information with other fans that have leather crafting skills, that may possibly want to make their own hat band. It is so much easier to have some idea of where to start, and what steps to take, than starting from scratch like I did. Finding the conchos is the hardest part, and you can order them from this website. Then you can get your own leather, edge cutter, dye, etc. to make your leather band to apply the conchos to.

This hand made hat band is custom made as ordered. Allow 2-4 weeks once ordered to complete. I will need the snug measurement around the hat it will be placed on to insure proper sizing. Band is made from tooling leather strapping, Edges hand cut, dyed Dark Brown, with @ 16-18 “Heyes Conchos” depending on your hat size. Tie strap is included for closure. I can make the hat band to your measurements, or I can send the hat band with unfinished ends. The Buyer will have to trim ends and punch holes for tie strap closure to get an exact fit for their hat. This is by far the best way to make sure it fits your hat correctly with a snug fit. Instructions on how to size the hat band to your hat are listed at the bottom of this page link. The complete process on how I make this hat band is also listed on this link if fans prefer to make their own hat band.

This Hat Band includes 9 conchos with turquoise center spots and a leather tie strap. Available in lengths of 23″ to 24″. Measure your hat to see what size is best. These hat bands are a ‘Vintage’ item (@ 40-50 years old) and may have slight imperfections and show signs of age, but all are in very good condition. I can provide a picture of the hatband before shipping if prefered.
